On the occasion of the LISIS laboratory seminar, we have been invited to present the ongoing research carried out within the NETCONF project.
Aïssa Toumi, intern on the project from April to September 2021, participated in the preparation of this presentation.
The format (1 hour presentation and 1 hour of questions) allowed for a comprehensive presentation of the preliminary questions and results obtained in the framework of this research and a detailed discussion of the associated methodological and epistemological issues.
In particular, the reasons for the under-representation of the study of conference data in the field of scientometrics were discussed. We would like to thank the members of the chemistry laboratory of the University of Poitiers for giving us their agreement to disseminate figures produced from data collected on their publication practices and their participation in the ISGC conference.
